Roy S. Harper
M.D., FAAP
Dr. Harper graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Indiana University/ Riley Hospital for Children in 1992. He completed a year of Cardiology fellowship training, and he is board Certified in Pediatrics, as well as being a Fellow of the AAP. He is married with four children.
Thomas A. Boyce
M.D., FAAP
Dr. Boyce is a native of Indianapolis. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and received his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2000. Upon completing his residency training at Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH in 2003, he moved back to the Indianapolis area and joined Hazel Dell Pediatrics in 2003. Dr. Boyce is married with four children and resides in Carmel.
Sherrie L. Criss
RN, MSN, CPNP
Sherrie was raised in Northwestern Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Nursing and an Advanced Practice Degree in Pediatric Primary Care. Sherrie is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the AAP and a Fellow of NAPNAP. She is married with two children.

Hazel Dell Pediatrics is the “Medical Home” of Doctors Roy Harper, Tom Boyce, and Sherrie Criss RN MSN CPNP, as well as a friendly and caring team of professional nurses and office staff. We feel honored to serve the families of our local and distant communities.
Our mission is to provide your family with Comprehensive Pediatric Care. Together we focus on Continuity of Care by providing professional guidance and expert care from birth through young adulthood.
- We offer scheduling for Routine Preventative Care “Well Child Exams”, Sports Physicals, and Consultations, as well as convenient same day appointments for illnesses and injuries.
- Planning for a new baby? We offer “Get Acquainted” visits with your provider.
- One of our experienced Registered Nurses is available daily by phone to provide expert guidance, facilitate communication with your provider, and to triage for more urgent scheduling of your sick child.
- We offer After Hours Call Coverage by one of our providers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
